I also just saw this on Yahoo. That sucks....He lived a hard life from his own hands, but MAN he could be funny. MY favorite Richard Pryor movie was The Toy with Jackie Gleason. The one him trying to get his stuff from the moving company was great, and Stir Crazy was good too. Too bad he's gone. I was wondering about how long he had left after seeing him on TV a few weeks ago; He was looking pretty bad.

I have a few of his standup comedy specials on DVD. Some funnier than others, depending on just how high he was.

my favorite movie was "See no evil hear no Evil", where he played the blind guy. Mostly because in that movie, the blue eyed chic gets naked. :)

I remember my dad taking me to see Live on sunset strip in the movie theater in about 82 when I was ten years old! I don't think he saw or read the previews or knew what kind of movie it was. I imagine he got some weird looks dragging a ten year oldl into that one!

He was great in the Silver Streak with Gene Wilder.
The part where they were in the train station and he was showing Gene Wilder how to be enough black to get past the cops was classic. Makes me laugh every time.
