i put new gears in my 12 bolt and the pattern looked good and backlash was perfect,but it has a wine to it.i havent pulled it apart so i dont really know whats up yet.i think while i have it apart i am going to put a new posi in it so i will be just starting over on it anyway.
so iguess my question is should i order another set off gears for it or try to reuse the ones in it? i have only drove them about 15 miles to the parts store and back. thanks

Do you have any pictures of the pattern? Were these good name brand gears or were they bargan brand gears?

i didnt take any pictures at the time(that will happen this time!).they were motive perfomance gears.i have used them before and not had any problems.im kind of lost to why they are making noise.

Motive had some of their gears made in Korea for a while. If you have a set of these gears then they are going to make noise. The gears that they made in Itally are good.
