Can anyone tell me how to put my hand on this? I'm helping my son install a factory heater/AC box in his '70, and we have the solenoid-actuated high-speed connection working fine. Now we're tyring to get variable speeds on the blower and I can't locate the resistor bridge that the switch connects to. It is external to the switch isn't it?

Thanks folks.

It’s on the evaporator housing (suit case). Follow the compressor suction line back to the evaporator. It connects to the suction throttle (POA) valve. Just below the POA you will see a connector with four wires. That’s the speed resistors. Yellow is low speed, ltgreen is med. 1 and ltblue is med 2. Dkblue is out from the resistors to the blower motor (it is spliced to the purple wire from the high speed relay to the blower)
