Note: Car is 69 SS w/ AC & Auto.

I finally got around to cleaning up the underhood wiring. Bought a new engine wiring harness from M&H to install. The engine harness includes an orange lead to the blower motor. The factory AC harness also has a lead (looks to be purple) to the blower motor that was originaly hooked up. Even though this was an original SS w/ AC car, the underhood wiring had been patched and repaired many times over the years, so I am not definitely sure what is correct. I have a wiring schematic that shows the 14ga. orange lead going to the blower, but the Four Season Air Cond Circuit schematic does show the 12 ga purple wire going to the blower. Anybody familiar with this?

The orange wire would have been clipped off, by the assembly line worker, on A/C optioned cars. The blower power is supplied through the A/C harness.
