Has anyone used the reproduction bucket seat brackets. I see that they make 2 different types. One set factory original and the other set is half the price of the original type. Just curious to see if someone has used either type and how well they worked? thanks

I have heard the 4 piece bracket set up is better, so I got one. Haven't installed it yet though.

I used the 4-piece set
there is a sticky at the top of the 'interiors' forum that you might want to look into.
After doing mine (66 elky) using the 68+ seat tracks, and 68 Buick buick seats, I am content.

I also did some measuring. and when I was done placing my brackets, my neighbor brought home a 67 GTO, so I went and did some measuring on those tracks.
My measurements and the GTO measurements were the same within 1/8"

The four peice sets is more correct to what the factory used. They also hold the seat more stable.:yes:

thanks, I guess the 4 piece set it will be.........hope to have the console installed , seat brackets in and carpet also next week
