Has anyone tried one of these? Wondering about quality/fit.

Have seen them several places........I would guess they all come from the same manufacturer.

My car is a convertible and when I got it the power top switch was all busted out on dash so I don't know exactly how it all fit originally. With the correct parts guess I can make one of these repro dashes work (convertible dash didn't have any moulded in stuff for switch.........did it?)

My friend used one and the fit was pretty good.
The lettering for the wiper/wash did not look exact. There is no difference in the convert dash. The hole for the switch was cut in the dash. The same goes for the rear defogger switch.

I put one in my 70 2 years ago. Overall, it fit pretty well. I did have to wrestle it a little to get the one mounting point by the heater control opening to line up, but I got it.

Put one in my convertible - nice fit - made a template for the top switch hole from the old dash and cut the same hole in the same place.

The steering wheel and console are aftermarket as well, all looks as good as my original car.

Aside from a few little items it really isn't that bad. Purchased it from Ground Up - I think it was around 269.00. I bought a lot of things that day so it may have been cheaper.
