I just got a new repro headliner from True Connections in CA. I know I'm probably being my anal self , but the material is more like vinyl than cloth to me. It is the perforated black for my 72. I didn't plan on having the visors recovered, but the difference between the original material on the visors and the headliner material is obvious. Is this normal or should I send it back and get a different brand? I think they said it was from Acme in CA.

There's no sense sending it back if all the repro headliners are made of the same material is there?

Not to steel your post, but we all have the same problem with the vinyl top material. Three years ago when I did my 71, the vinyl tops from Year one were dead on. The tops these resto companys are selling now are shiny, padded and totally incorrect. I've seen them on many Chevelles at ACES shows and they're all wrong.
Anyone know of a company that sells the correct vinyl tops???
