I had no problem with the drivers side door... BUT... I didn't notice it had an extra hole toward the rear behind the rear view mirror...... until I was putting the mirror on after painting the car! Fit was fine and it was fairly straight.

I got a left one for my 69 camino, seems to fit pretty good. The hardest part was getting my lip fixed. Door had been in an accident prior, so the lip it rests on was not sitting correctly.

The part that meets the top of the door is pretty tough to get that folded over too. Mine is kinda tweeked from hammering it on. Just have to add a little putty in that spot.

Also be careful handling it before its on the shell. Seems to bend easier when it's not attatched. I pushed a little too hard on the door handle opening and bent it. Probably since it's thinner than stock metal.

I got Goodmark door shells for my '70. They didn't fit worth shucks. The bottom gap was fine. The contour was fine. The top of the door was 1/4" lower than the line of the original quarter panels. So to me, they're crap. But what other options are there? NOS? Nice, but sheesh, the prices are absurd if they can be found.

What i am up against is the two lower corners are just showing some rust.
I could cut the sections out and weld in new metal or reskin with a repro skin.
Just seeing if i would be going from a reasonable weld job to a nightmare with a repro panel that doesn't fit correctly.

Thanks for all the help

If after sanding off all the paint and pulling the door panels to check the inside throughly and it is just the two corners - definitely a weld job.
