I posted this in the bench racing section but not many people saw it so I thought I would post it here also.
Roger Ausley has reprinted the Chevelle and elCamino ID code numbers book that Mark Meekins first printed several years ago and they are for sale from Ausley's Chevelle parts.

Here is a picture of the book, lots of great information.

yes, this book is an updated addition. There were corrections made to some incorrect information, and all types of things added such as production statistics and even stripe dimensions.
I have a 1st edition book, it has the stripe dimensions for 70~72 models and production statistics for all years. I was told that the two books are the same other than the cover that says "3rd edition".
If you know, would you post some of the corrections and additions in the new book, so that I would know I'm not buying the same book twice?
Thanks,
BillL

I have the yellow cover edition that covers 64 to 72. Does the purple striped edition include information on later models?

My purple & pink stripe cover book is "Second edition published August 1989" and includes info for 64~72 models. It's 283 pages long plus the Table of Contents at the front and the NCOA membership application at the rear of the book.

It's a great book and resource, and I recommend it to all Chevelle guys, but if the 3rd edition is just a reprint I don't need it. If there really is new or revised info, then I'll get one, I just want to see some examples.
