Took me 1yr start to finish working weekends and some nights here and there. I only farmed out some of the work where friends or family members do this for a living.

I had to gut everything, fix 3 foundation hairline cracks, relocate bathroom, all new electrical & plumbing, replace windows, insulate walls and cieling....you get the picture.

WOW! Nice job! Looks great, I plan on doing mine someday, after the bathroom/kitchen remod...so maybe in a couple of years! Again, looks great nice job, gives me inspiration!
Was the slab set up for a bathroom or are you using a up flush system?

Go for it! I did the kitchen a few years ago. I have to say that is the toughest remodel, since you have to set up somewhere to cook food elsewhere.

Nice, did you use anything over the concrete before you started framing? Sealer or insulation? I'd like to do my basement.
Yes, 2" rigid foam. Now, I had some existing framing, so I ripped the boards to fit in stud cavities and sealed the perimeter with great stuff. I also sealed up the rim joists, which leak huge amounts of air. I must of used 24-30 cans of great stuff.

The basement really does feel more comfortable and tighter, I highly recommend doing this. Foam board acts as a vapor barrier. It's been hard for me to figure out, but I see 5-10% savings on my gas bill.

If you currently do not have framing, then glue up the 4x8 sheets.
