He did mine, turned out good and everything works fine except having trouble with brake lights, signals and hazard lights, but I'm guessing I have a bad ground on that as I have powerto all the fuses, flashers, etc.

I found this individual through eBay listing for restored dash harness: David Fenninger <[email protected]>. I have no experience with him yet but am about to send mine to him.
Dave does GREAT work and stands behind his work. Great service, easy to deal with.

"Just curious, but how do "refurbish" 37 to 45 year old wire and insulation?"

You don't, if the insulation is bad you have to replace the wire. Most wire harnesses only require cut wires and missing connectors be repaired. I have repaired many many harnesses and have a box full of spare wires and some connectors. I also do conversions - malibu to ss, 72 to 70/71.

I don't know about refurbishing a 40+ year old harness. I was thinking about either trying to refurbish mine myself, or have somebody do it. But for twice the $200, I can have a brand-new harness that I can be confident will have no problems. With everything new, there are no worries about underlying issues with 40+ year-old wires and connectors.

Just my 2 pennies worth ... :)
