Hi. I’m ready to remove my 4.56 ring and pinion to get back to numbers correct 3.31

Anyone have an opinion on who’s aftermarket I should look at? Prices seem to bounce between high $200 and $800

currently has a 3 series carrier with a ring gear spacer. So i know the carrier will work. This rear was retrofitted with the 4.56’s in the mid 70’s

it’s a 67 chevelle 12 bolt posi

And US Gear manufactures their gears in the USA, unlike many others. And make sure you buy from US Gear, not USA.

Thanjs to both of you. I did see that there is USGear and USA and checked them out. Looks like US Gear only sells through distributors and there are none here in Florida. I’ll be calling some and see if they sell and ship

Regards,
Rick

I'm running Motive Gear r&p from summit racing, haven't had any trouble out of them except for a little noise around 45mph. I set them up, you're results may vary.

EDIT my break in period wasn't per mfg either..

How about Eaton? Made in USA and have a coating that eliminates break in period. Anyone know of them?
Moser has US Gear also
i decided to go with Eaton. They have 3:31 which is not all that common, made in USA and have a special highly polished finish which eliminates break in period. No cheap, $550
