I just received my custom rearend from Strange, does anyone know if the housing is intended to be painted? because it looks like bare steel, personally i care less what the color of it is....but i dont want it to rust. So to prevent the rustin does it need painted? and what kind of paint? Can i use my POR=15 on it? after i mask all the parts off course.

I'd paint it, POR 15 ought to work fine. I used WM paint on my Moser.
