I want to remove the rear window trim and back window from my 72 Chevelle. I have never done any trim removal in the 40 or so years I was a working mechanic and I have absolutely no idea how it's done. What tool(s) do I need and how do I do it without damaging the trim?

What I am trying to accomplish is to get the rear glass out of the car ( and save the glass ) and Por-15 the rusted areas at the lower corners of the window and the rusted area below the package tray. There is also rust in the bracing for the trunk springs. None of this is too bad but it offends me.

The rear window lower corners are the only place on the entire car where there is rust perforation.

I hate to say this but I am utterly ignorant of any thing to do with body work. Please advise me.
