I have unboxed RCA's and a 1" rear swaybar. I have broken the first sway bar I installed. It lasted 2 1/2 years. The second is doing fine so far. The control arms are still in perfect condition.
I think boxing is good if you plan on racing the car on road courses. If you just street drive or drag only its not particularly important.
