Just got my new currectrac upper and lower arms installed in addition to a new moser 12 bolt w/ rubber bushings in ears, eibach springs, and hotchkis sway bar. I discovered that the upper arms appear to squeak severly during travel. utilized new rubber isolators on the top of the springs during installation so I guess I was expecting the ride to "sound" fairly normal.
This setup is replacing factory 40 yr old parts. Can anyone clue me in as to whether this increase in 'noise' is part of the price I'm paying for performance. I utilized Mobil 1 full syn grease to lubricate during installation as well. Performance feels second to none, but having never ridden in another set-up I was wondering if this is normal?

Are your lower shock mounts tight? If not, the squeeking could be coming from the rubber in the lower shock mount bolts.

Is it a rubbery squeek or a metal on metal squeek? If it's a metal squeek, check your upper arms to make sure there is sufficient clearance at the differential housing. I had to clearance my Currie arms in this area.

Did you also lubricate the faces of the bushings that meet up with the brackets on the frame? Greasing the inside race of the bushing where it goes through the arm housing is important too, but you also need to grease the faces of the bushings.

the squeak really seems to be coming from just behind/below the rear seat which makes me tend to think its the upper arms. From outside the car if
I bounce the bumper it is quite audible. I did grease the bushing faces in addition to the zerk fittings.
