The interior of my 69 is for the most part original. The carpet was replaced sometime along the way but thats about it. The passenger side seat belt is missing. But did these cars even have seat belts in the rear. My car does'nt have them and I don't even see any muonting point or holes in the floor boards for them. The floors are 100% original. If it should have belts back there where can I find good repos. I also need a new belt for the passenger side.

Any help here would be a blessing. Thanks guys.

Chevrolet brochure says, "Seat belts with pushbutton buckle for all passenger positions." Their italics, not mine.

If you're not concerned about originality, belts are available quite often on eBay for reasonable prices. If you want top-of-the-line, try http://www.ssnake-oyl.com/. They have new, generic-type, belts as well as a restoration service.

Yes belts for 3 rear seat passengers were std. The holes with threaded nuts welded to floor pans are under the seats at the rear where the floor pan turns up. You have to remove the seat bottom to see them. The holes would also be visible from underneath.

Depending on the originality of your vehicle, I am willing to bet that your seatbelts are still there, but tucked-down under the rear seat. If you remove the bottom portion of the seat you will most likely find your missing belts...still attached to the car.
