Obvious but oft overlooked - Did you check for burned out filaments in your bulbs? The brake/hazard portion of the 1157 lamp is a separate filament. It is both possible and the norm for only one of the two 1157 filaments to burnout first...and it is more often than not the brake/hazard filament because it he's worked harder.

Check to make sure you have a good ground at the rear tail light connectors. The ground is two little metal tabs of the connector that the bulb goes in. The connector is plastic but has a bunch of plastic tabs and I think two metal ones.
I had the same problem and switched to Ford, yeah I know, as all tabs are metal and solved that problem for me. You can take some sandpaper and make sure the edge of the hole that the connector pops in are clean also.
