This question is probably dumb but here goes anyway.....I've got a 70 Malibu....when driving, it feels like it has some "sway" in rear of the car. Now, the does not have a rear sway bar. I've put new shocks on it (didn't help any). Do you think adding a sway bar will fix this problem?

Thanks,
Rick

Unless you're running thin-wall slicks then I'd suspect you need bushings. I'm sure you checked the lug nuts already.

You will notice immediately the improvement to handling with a sway bar installation. The car will feel firmer no matter what your driving habits. You bet, Doug was right on that the basics have to be right first ...bushings, etc.
