Off of what other cars can I get a rearend from?
Im looking for a 12bolt, currently have a 10bolt. I was at the junk yard and came across a couple of trucks with 12bolts.
If the swap can be done what am I looking to do to make the installation on my 70 chevelle

basically of any 64-72 a body the rears will swap

but you want a 12 bolt i think only later 71-72 pontiacs and chevys had them

another good option is the 8.5 10 bolt from the 71-72 olds and buicks they are just as strong as a 12 bolt

I'm pretty sure the truck 12 bolts won't work. My dad had a '72 C10 with a 12 bolt posi and he said they're different than the passenger car 12s.
