Uhn uh... Not that kind of rear end.;)

Can anyone identify this car Rear end and differential?
I don't know for sure and need some other opinions.

Looks like a pre 48 Ford rear. A better pic would help though.

48-earlier Ford torque tube type rear, as best as I can tell from that picture.

My dad made his own jackstands out of a used up differential just like that. I'll go with the '48 and earlier Ford.

They do come in pretty handy

I still have a couple from when I tore the rearend out of my 48 Ford coupe years ago trying to clutch start it on a hill in reverse.

Sorry about the pics, I'll try to post a new couple this morning. Didn't get very good pictures because I was stumbling around in an old barn in pitch black. There were parts scattered around, and I was wondering if there might be most of a whole car I could piece together.

Interesting, Thanks. THere was another car remnant out there that was a 31 Chevy. So this might be from a Ford that old. I love the spoke wheels.
