I put a Moser 12 bolt posi in a 65 Chevelle 300.
The Moser had no mounting pads for the axle bumpers.
I am assuming I need the bumpers to prevent axle slamming into frame.
I do not have the original 10 bolt axle housing anymore.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I figure I'll have to find an old housing, torch the mounting pads off, and reweld them to the Moser unit.
Is there an easier way?

It might be better to post this in the driveline forum. One of the regulars there (Biggearhead) is a Moser dealer and he probably knows the answer.
