I have to agree 100%. I used a painless, divorced key GM column muscle car harness for my 67 El Camino. It is an intimidating project. But with every circuit and wire labeled end to end,, it makes it a LOT easier. fillow instructions and Just be SURE you have the wire routed where you want before you cut. That ol measure twice, cut once rule applies BIG TIME

I went with the American Autowire Classic Update Kit. It uses the ATO/ATC type fuses, has plenty of fused circuits for options (including through the firewall bulkhead connectors), comes with excellent instructions and schematics, uses over-sized (lower AWG) cross-link wiring for each circuit, and uses connectors to separate the instrument bezel. Price is just under $500. Make sure you use the correct crimping tool for any kit you purchase.
