Yeah, it's for the green turd in the signature picture. Seems to me that the engine was just "garage freshened" when I bought it. Meaning the owner took apart an engine that sat for awhile, honed it in his garage, threw a set of cheap rebuilder pistons in it with rings and bearings and told me it was just done. The deck wasn't flat, and the hypereutectic pistons had a TON of piston to wall clearance. So much that you can visibly see the FORGED pistons are tighter in the holes. And one of the main caps had tight clearance. So one thing led to another, and since I wanted a hydro roller for reliability, I thought it was just easier to buy a set of aluminum heads instead of messing with the original 186 casting heads. So, SRP pistons, Scat rods, Eagle crank, AFR heads, Lunati cam and Harland Sharp rockers, I'll again have a running engine.

It's nothing special, just a 355. It is the original numbers matching block, so since it was a 10.3-1 factory engine, I just rebuilt it to those specs with better parts. The heads, I can replace with the stock heads if I have to. The cam and lifters, well if I sell it and the buyer NEEDS it to be original I can put an L-48 replacement cam and lifters in it and the engine is as built from the factory. But hopefully I'll keep it for a little while and it should make low 400's hp as is right now. With the 4 speed and 4.10 gears it should be fun.
