Guys - I've tightened the hold down clamps on the roof and I still have some gap issues at high sppeds. What do you do at the drags? Do you crack a window or anything? Do you tape the top to the windsheild frame during a race?

That wasn't my car, wish it was though . I'd drive with the top down in the winter so long as it isn't snowing.

I ran with the top up (1/4 mile), and never noticed a problem with a gap or excess air flow... Sounds like the top needs more adjustment, maybe header bow bent?...

My local track wants me to have a drive shaft loop and a 6 point cage if I intend to run faster than a 13.99. That is the NHRA rule for 'verts. I think I can do that while dragging a Toyota behind me, so needless to say I have not gone to the strip with my car. I do intend to run it at CB '06, so if I am slower than a 13.99 then everyone will know it.

I think you can get 2 passes faster than 13.99 than your done without a 6 point.
