I have heard about services available to convert original AM or AM FM radios to AM FM stereo and/or CD changer. Has anyone had their radios converted? If so what have been the results.
Does anyone know who provides this service?

try a search on that topic here. I am pretty sure that the info you need has been discussed in earlier posts.

Try antiquecarradio.com
I had my old AM converted to a new am/FM stereo and very pleased with the results. Radio looks the same when it is off, when it is on you see a didgital blue readout thru the faceplate. Pushbuttons are converted to search, station presets, etc. CD changer in the trunk is hooked up thru FM frequency. The radio conversion itself was 5 bills.
Can't think of the guys name right now but very good to deal with. Good luck
