I have a '66 rag with the original 327. (It's actually a Beaumont SD, but that doesn't matter.)
It has the original 2 core rad with the small block spacer between the grille and the rad. It does not have the original fan. As the rad is tired, I've decided to try to keep things somewhat original and go with a re-core, but step up to a 3 core. I'm also going to change to a 7 blade chevy fan (from a late 70's van).
My question is, how much space should there be between the fan and the rad? (It did not come with a shroud.)
Any/all feedback is appreciated...
