I'm thinking of installing this. Does anyone know how it stands up to floor jacks, jack stands, etc?

What if you spill oil & it gets into the seams? You have to pull the floor up to clean in that area?

Thanks for your input!

I was thinking the same thing. In my garage it would end up level full of tranny oil( I do alot of trans for friends) it never goes in the drainpan. I bet it is for non working shops, I just cant see plastic taking a beating from jacks and stands. It does look very nice, if all I had in my shop was a "done Chevelle" or a pool table I would consider it.

IMO for a working garage, a high quality cleaning/epoxy job is better. It provides good traction, easy future cleaning, and oil and crud doesnt soak into the concrete.

IMO make it a light color so you can identify any spilled fluids quickly. On dark colors it all looks black.

The people at race deck said it absolutely will hold up to jacks/commercial environment. I don't do too much heavy work but I will do a brake job here & there or a clutch. If I anticipate a spill that's fine but I think if it gets to the concrete, you have to stop it somehow. Maybe a good sealer underneath? You would still have to clean it but it wouldn't impregnate the concrete.

Guys in my opp. I think it would be good for a show room or something of that nature ,But there is no way a working garage/shop would remain sanitary with this stuff down....Period! I went with General Polimers Epoxy and it's Great.
