The PBM heads are very simular if not the same castings as the Pro Comp heads.

There have been many complaints and issues from when they have been introduced.

Overall they are a cheaper casting made overseas. You will want to check everything to make sure they have the correct clearances, pressures etc.

Also if your running a square port intake the runners of the head are much smaller and need to be opened up. I think they will work fine with a round port intake.

So in short, it's all in what you want out of them.....

I have ported a set and they came out decent for what they are. But I very well could have gotten a decent casting.

Neither Dart or AFR make any cheap china junk. Who was it that told you that? Somebody selling the heads?

Wonder if Dart knows yet that these guys are using their trademarks and logos?

How are they using their logos?

There logos are used on the Dart side of the page unless im missing something

I just dont see where they are selling the PBM head as Dart there, They are advertising the Dart logo because they are selling Dart heads but all the heads say either Dart or PBM in that link

The distinction appears pretty evident...doesn't look like a cross claim.

Those heads make fantastic power, but have their shortcomings. The ex seats only register 5/16" deep and I have heard and seen them drop out under exteeme heat. I have also seen them work just fine with no issues at all. I'm gonna suggest you buy American and get some peace of mind with it. The better quality and performance is worth a few extra bucks. Dart, AFR, Edelbrock, Brodix, RHS, etc all make wonderful products. Take a look at them instead.
