Quick rear swaybar question

Is there any reason NOT to have arms off a swaybar that is attatched to the rear axle to extend rearward and attatch to the frame. All the others I have seen face forward...

You can do it that way but it puts the bar all out of sync with the rest of the suspension, swinging in a tootally opposite arc. make extra certain that the end links won`t bind up throughout the whole range of travel. You`ll find it`s quite a bit harder than when it`s oriented the more conventional way. Also the end links tend to end up where the tailpipes are normally located. Mark SC&C
