If I remove the main brake line coming off of the master cylinder for the front brakes and then reinstall can I get away with bleeding the front brakes only?

Because if I only remove just the front line and not the back it's not allowing air to the rears correct?

Correct. Just don't let any air into the m/c so you have to bench bleed it.

Thanx Olle....do you have any tips on keeping air out of the master cylinder? I am going to be removing the brake line to install my line lock.

You'll need a plug of some kind, anything will do as long as it fits in the hole. Check in the parts store, they might have something that fits... or ask them nicely if you can rob one off a new m/c.

I planned on just removing the line off the m/c to connect to the line lock, then connect a new line from the m/c to the line lock, then bleed.....hope it's ok to do it like this....
