hey all, just finishing up putting in my 468 in my car and i have 049 heads on it. i cant remember if they take tappered or washer plugs i have three set of plugs and one set is tappered i think they are for my 049 heads i ran a few years ago.

looking at my 390 heads and another set of oval port heads i know they take washer plugs. the 049 look like they take the tappered seat. but i just want to ask before i install them to fire up the new engine. thanks .

What brand and part number is on the plugs your using. Just wondering because I have 049's also......

I use Delco plugs... I'll have to check the part number on them tonight.
