I have a 70 Malibu I am planning to install a tach dash into. I have an original setup that needs re-faced and repaired (tach doesn't work). I am also considering buying one of the repop packages.
I would appreciate input from others who have gone this route.

I puchased the coversion kit from Muscle Factory for my 72. I was quite happy with the quality.

Although I didnt have an original tach to compare to, it matched my other guages perfectly in my eyes and functions well also.
