I have a 69 chevelle sss 396/325. I have seen two different numbers #'s for an original q-jet. Does any body Know what the real numbers are?

Correct '69 396/325hp or 427/335hp carb part numbers:
Auto - 7029200
Manual - 7029201
Source: Delco Carburetor & Power Kit Catalog - Oct. '71

I've also seen sources that show 7029204 and 7029215 as correct but I believe that these would only be correct for 396/350hp or 427/390hp. Since these are "Vette" parts, they bring a much higher price.

Could someelse confirm this I want to be absolutely sure before I make a dicision. Not that I doubt you fred, I have that information also, but I just want to be sure.

Hi

I checked my Chevelle SS Restoration guide book written by Paul Herd, it has always steered me right in th epast.

It lists the following carbs for 69

L34 Auto 7029200
L34 Manual 7029201
L35 Auto 7029204
L35 Manual 7029215
L78 (and COPO 427)used Holley 4150, manual was 3959164, auto 3959165
