I am looking for front fender flag emblem mounting location details. I have v-flag emblems and 350 emblems to put just above the flags. I don’t know if they actually came this way but I have seen some like this and I like the look. I need a template for the locations for both sides or at least some measurments.
And drilling tips are welcome too. New paint.

Can’t help with the location but I know those emblems typically use speed nuts on the back. Can you get to the back or would it involve removing the inner fender. Another way to apply them is to grind the mounting studs off the back and secure them with 3m emblem tape. I have done this in the past and it works quite well and unless one looks very close can’t tell the tape is there. Bonus is no drilling and therefore no chance of messing up new paint.

I also suggest using genuine 3m trim tape. Put it on the back of the emblem then trim with a razor knife. A little bit of soapy water sprayed on the finish before installation will allow movement for placement if you think you can't stab it in one shot.
