I wish I remebered the guys name, but there's a guy in the pan handle of Florida that did it kinda cheap. He's right accross the border, maybe a couple few hours from you. I'll see if I can dig up his info again. When I went to look around, he was about 3/4 of the way through back halving a Road Runner. It looked nice. He also does full tube chassis. I think he told me $5000 for a chassis. But that's JUST the chassis. It's still cheap though, it's 8-10K anywhere else I looked. I don't remember what he told me for the back half.

give my buddy a call see his website www.jesterdesignsandfab.com
he does killer work and is very reasonable!!
I already have a local racecar builder/racer lined up for the project. I'm just trying to get a feel for what some of the folks here think is a fair price for his labor. My builder and I spoke about this yesterday and when I'm ready in a few months I'll bring my car to him and he'll give me a list of what he needs. The list will include a set of 15"x15" wheels , 29"x18.5" tires, new gearset, axles, tubs, fuel cell, prebuilt ladder-bar rear clip, and I'm sure a few more things that I'm not thinking of right now. He will be installing all of these items and I'll just be paying him for his time and materials that he uses in his shop. Hopefully this is detailed enough that someone can give me an accurate estimate of what I should expecting to pay.
