I have stock spindles in my 67 since I used a SSBC conversion Drum to Disc Kit # A123

In regards to 15" Tires here is what I run on the Street on the 67;
Fronts - Wheel = CragarChrome 391 # 3915734 15"x 7" BS 3.50” BC 5x4 ¾”
"""""""- Rubber = Uniroyal Tgr Pw Radial P205/75R15 – Tread Width 6.25” /Side Walls Width 8"/ Dia 27.1"
REARS - Wheel = CRAGAR Chrome 391 # 3915834 15"x 8" BS 4.25” BC 5x4 ¾”
""""""" - Rubber = M/T Sportsman S/R Radial 28'' x 12''R x 15''LT Tread Width 10.4"/ Side Wall Width 12.1"/Dia 28"

Both sets of Rubber have been on for 5 years and show very little signs of wear
plus have great handling and traction, see my signature .

I have had BFGs etc and they were crap as they did not last long
and no traction even when a mild takeoff at a light/stop sign

We have Fatman 2" drop spindles on the UMI LeMans. The key to having the car handle well is to make sure it's a "tall" drop spindle. I believe they are 1-3/4" add'l spindle height which really helps the camber curve. With a UMI adjustable upper we can achieve 6 deg caster. There is a little bit of bump steer but that is easily solved with a bump steer stud and spacer kit.

For springs, we offer standard height front (to go with the drop spindles) and 2" rear drop springs. Also popular is 1" (plus 2" spindle) for those who like a little bit of rake.
