I’m looking for some information on pro charger fitment. I’ve got a 1967 chevelle true SS and it’s original besides the engine and rear sheet metal is currently getting replaced too.
Here is where I need help.
I’ve got a 454 that I am turning into either a 496ci or a 505ci. I’m going to build the engine to about 575hp and I would like to put a pro charger F1A-94 on top of it. My only thing is that I want to keep the original SS hood.
I know I could probably get away with using a standard pro charger hat over my Holley sniper, but an f1 really would be restricted by that and I’d have to push the charger harder to get the 850-900hp mark that I want. I more so need the 4” competition hat that they offer.
Has anyone done this and succeeded? If you have any advice or knowledge, that would be appreciated!
