I am sure there folks on here from around the Oklahoma City area, who do you folks recommend for buying primer and paint products from in the way of being helpful for a novice and a fair quality product.

I am partial to PPG products, but there are other brands. Google it to find the nearest jobber in your area. They cater to pros and will give good advice, which you should follow. Get product data sheets for every product that you buy, they will tell you how to properly use the stuff. I can't stress this last part enough, you do not want to have an expensive product fail because you didn't follow the directions.
