I put a bid in on this car ($600.00) when I first saw the auction. I've been looking for a decent convertible project and saw this one locally on ebay. Hard to tell from the pics but it looked solid enough from the pics. He said needed floor pans and had the normal rust, so I'm thinking maybe some quarter/fender patches and floor at most. Due to work I wasn't able to go look at it until 2 hrs before the auction was over. WOW! is all I can say. the car came out of new jersey 6 months ago and needs full quarters,inner/outer wheel wells, trunk floor, deck lid, both doors, not just skins because the door bottoms were gone, rockers, fenders, fender wells and core support. the only salvagable body part was the hood. the frame was questionable because the only way to get the top to line up was put jack stands under the middle of the car. I really feel bad for the high bidder  . this car is rusted as bad or not worse than the 72 chevelle vert I bought a few years ago for $300.00 and the chevelle had a 12 bolt and disc brakes.

There's a 67 elky for sale on ebay also. pics show front and drivers side only. Seller has been stating for a week that he will add more pics and now that it is on the last bid day he is telling everyone that he no longer has time to put the pics up. Was going to bid on it, now I wonder how much damage the passenger side must have if he won't post pics of it. As the old saying goes buyer beware. Jb
