I have read some posts on here about PPG rear glass for the 68 to 72 having the wrong convex curves. I figured they would have fixed it by now. But no. I just set my new glass next to my old glass and it is not even close! Just wanted to update you all and tell ya to steer clear.

I bought it from a local dealer Henderson glass. I told him I may be returning it because of the problem, but that I assumed they would have fixed it by now. He assured me that if it did not fit I could bring it back so I tried it. I also saw that when I looked at them with sunglasses on, the tinting on the original glass was much better and uniform. The new glass looked splotchy. He and two other shops told me that they couldn't get Pilkington or LOF so I am going to be polishing and re-installing my original glass.
Thx Bill

I have a windshield and a vent glass from auto city classics. I got the original green tint, and it matches up very well with the original glass. Price is good too. The glass does come from Thailand, but I can't tell any problems with it.

I am going to be using the PPG windshield as the only problem reported, and then verified by myself, has been the rear glass. I just wanted to update all on this. I didnt mean to say that all PPG glass has a problem.
