The Grip LS is a copy of the Traction Lock differential that Ford used in the 7.5 and 8.8 rear ends, and GM used in the corporate 8.5 and the "O" rear ends. I haven't used one of them yet, but it should be a good differential.
Thanks. It seems there are several low-cost eaton copies on the market now, but I'm not sure I'd trust any of them (other than the Yukon). Powertrax / Richmond has a good name, so I assumed maybe the product and machining is OK.

I've had the "S"-spring clutch differentials in a Mustang 8.8 and a GM 8.5 before, and both worked well and caused no problems.
