right now we have a powerglide but were gonna swap to a 350...its a column shift right now but were also gonna change it to a floor shifter(automatic)anyone done this please give us some info(linkage and passing gear)we already bought a 350 that will fit w/ our driveshaft but there is nothingelse(all linkage)so any info is welcome.

I did swaped my powergilde for a TH350 and changed to floor shift on my 68 a couple months ago. You'll need the shifter cable, the shifting brackets, the kickdown cable and the kick down bracket which goes on your carb. You can get all of these things from shiftworks (www.shiftworks.com I think) When your done hooking up the tranny, make sure you hook up the safety neutral switch. It took me a while on mine to figure out that that was why my engine wouln't start.

Did same thing about a year ago on a 67. The dipstick tube rattled against the firewall. Wrapped a piece of heater hose around it. Stopped the problem. For what its worth.
