Thanks for the clarification. I will keep my open for land yachts of the correct era. It seems that not so long ago they were all over the place, but not anymore. I have never seen a kit but I would consider it. I had looked through some street rod stuff to see if anybody sells a motor that could be adapted but I was never able to find anything. Probably because i don't know what to look for.

I'll post a picture of what they look like and the mounting ears... The weak point on the motors is the gear that runs against the worm drive. It is plastic and in time it wears a groove down the centre of the drive gear which rotates the vent window... there is a rebuild gear of metal that can be bought to replace this. Mine look pretty good. I lucked out.
I believe that 67 Cadillacs had the same motor as 57 and up? If this helps?

Vern this is the motor you will need to look for Part numbers are 4490686 R/H side and 4490687 L/H drivers side These can be found on the underside of the top part of the motor. Look at the second pic and you can see the part number at the top of the picture.

I have a Buick place that deals with everything Buick I will post when I find the info.
It is costly However you only buy it once... right? LOL!!!

Here is what the motors should look like... next to the stock winder from pass side. I know it looks like they are different sizes but they are exactly the same The manual one is just lower down on the bench. I put them against a paper and maker the holes... They are bang on.

IF you see one an Electra or even up to 67 Cadillac... and they are there grab them as well the Harness and switches. The side by side switch which is proper for vent windows in a Buick was NOT cheap!

It is sad that I did not know about this even a few years ago. These cars were sitting in sideyards all over. There was even a cadillac at the carwash my son worked at when he was in school. I could have probably had the stuff for free.

Update... I found some ! They are from a mid sixties full size GM car . The bolt pattern is slightly off, however its only a matter of drilling two holes, no other mods. They were for 1965-1968 GM . 198.00 on EBAY.
