I'm looking to convert my '66 to manual steering. What years will convert? What will I need for the conversion?

Thanks all!

hey Chevelle66, I was wondering how come you wanted to switch to manual steering? I currently have manual steering in my 67 and sometimes in parking lots and stuff it gets to be a bear. Sometimes I wish I had power steering. if you do want to convert, all you need is the pitman arm and box, and disconnect your pump. Good luck to you!!

I want to change to manual steering because one of the previous owners did a hack job with all of the bracketry for the car, and there's a bracket welded to the headers for it. Well, I'm planning a swap to a Rat over the summer
and I don't want to mess with welding another bracket on to some perfectly good BBC headers.

Also, my car doesn't have many options at all, and I'm going for that 'stripper musclecar' theme...
