I think it's a simple answer but couldn't get a solid answer after doing a search. Question: In converting to PS on my '64 SS, I purchased a Lares brand reman PS gearbox. I'm keeping my almost new steering components which are the early 13/16" size. Does anybody know if there is a pitman arm that will fit the larger diameter splined PS gearbox but also fits the smaller 13/16" tie rods.

I would think manufacturers would make one for those converting to PS while keeping the smaller steering parts.

Yes there is, when I converted my 64 I was lucky and found a 442 PS box it already had the 13/16" pitman arm.

Thanks for the info. I also went on Jegs and they have a Proforged brand for about $20.00 less than the GU model. Summit has the same for $10 less. Figures, everybody has the 7/8's as a standard fit.
