Former or present with specs and pics. I found some old pics, and the trip down memory lane was nice. Thought I'd share. Sorry if this has been done before.

Here is mine I built this car when i was 21 and still living under mom and dad's roof. Forced to grow up, the for sale sign went on in 2000.

509ci BBC, Ported BB-2x's, 6-71/ w Enderle bug catcher, 320 @ .50 .756 lift cam, Dana w/3.73's, 30x 10.5 Et streets. full interior and street driven. Best pass- 8.90 @154 smokin the tires to 1000'. Never did get it hooked up before I sold it.Not very good by today's standards but @ the time it was a wicked, wicked street car.

My baddest ride is still my el camino, mild 350 small block, TH350 trans, 3.73:1 gears..:boring:

But it's still better than my neon :p

In a few years once I'm out of university the car will be something pretty wild, hint hint turbo LS, or ideally a duramax or cummins.

Murder Camino looks dangerous. I have been wanting to build a flat murdered car for some time now. Cool ride.

Mark, I believe you set the bar way too high right off the getgo! Wicked street car??:bow:

I'll contribute but had to give respect to the reigning king....

My little 55 has gone 11.50 and launches @ 7k pulling the front up a little. It's a 427/jerico 4sd and is a kick on the launch pad. I only had the car built for a few weeks when I took off with a bud to set some land/speed records. Little did I know the car had a ton of drill shavings and general construction debris left in all the little crevices. During the 1st launch, the visors swung back, slapping my helmet and there was a whirlwind in the cab, landing a fistful of debris on the passenger seat. Good thing I had a visor!

Too High?? You are the one with the killer '55. Btw the 55 is the # 2 car I want to build before I meet God. I helped on a '55 pro build years ago and my love never stopped. The 1st gen nova is #1, I have owned 4 of them, Pre- wife and kids, so I am very partial.

Doesn't hold a candle to the cars posted, but its what I have and I am proud of it, I have just about touched every bolt on it and did it all myself, its packin a 30 over 396 with about 465hp a turbo400 with an ati 3500 stall and a 4.11 posi 12 bolt, and its the fastest thing I have ever had!

And I love it!

Thanks, my rear bumper wasn't worth rechroming, so it got sprayed black like the rest of the car. Looking back I'm happy with that decision. The car does have chrome Cragar's on it now though.

The all black look was cool, but blac and chrome I think is even better:thumbsup:

Always wanted a 55 like that, nice!
Almost bought one identical many years ago had a mild 327 M22 456 gears.
That thing wouldnt get out of its own way lol. One day..

Had an 85 GT Mustang with a 460 100 shot C6 lotsa fun
68 SS Chevelle clone with a fairly radical 396 was featured in a rag in the early 90s. That car got up and went.

Other than that lots of hot rods but nothing "impressive fast"

'76 Nova, '70 Nova front clip, 2 x 3 tube frame, ladder bars. 433 CID, N/A on methanol, Brodix heads, manual valve body, trans braked Powerglide. 9.98 @ 134, 1.35~1.36 60'. Fun car, I traded it for my Chevelle.
