Martin's out. Seems like his spotter kinda f'd him by tellin him to go low when the wreck came about. Keslowski was the underdog, Was kind of rooting him on but he got taken out. Seems like bowyer's got a strong car today. Wouldnt mind seeing JR. win it either. I'm going to go with earnhardt.

Martin was up there fighting for the win at the end..
but they just couldn't get around that red and white Ford with the Motorcraft logo on the hood and the number 21 on the roof and doors..

Just as I had hoped...a winner who truly needed the win! :hurray:

The driver did not even have a contract for the rest of 2011.

You can bet he'll have one -- a nice one -- very soon!!

Way to go, Wood Brothers! :beers:
yeah, but it's too bad he doesn't get any points towards the Cup championship- but it is nice to see a Nationwide series driver show up the Cup guys for once..

NASCAR had Waltrip do his thing to help set up Earnhardt Jr for the win. Even had RCR build some junk motors....

The Waltrip deal was swung with his win yesterday...

I am happy to see the Woods Bros with a win....that kid drove a smooth/smart race.

what did Waltrip do to help set Jr up for a win? take himself out along with not only another car that he owned but also about half of the field? if he was supposed to take the other Hendrick cars out, then he did a bad job because the #5 was right in there until the end despite being caught in that crash.

i highly doubt that ECR would build junk engines to help Jr win- a Harvick win (the old #3 team) on the 10th anniversary of Sr's death would have been played off as just as "fitting" and with just as much "closure" as a win for Jr- and he was the first car out of the race. what about the ECR engines out there that didn't blow up- i think they built engines for 9 of the cars out there, and only 2 of them blew up. a few of them were right up there until the end fighting for a win.

and if the race was fixed, then why was there a noticeable lack of fake cautions to help one driver out? hell, at one point, a car blew a tire, hit the wall, and had the burning carcass of the tire laying in the grass on the back stretch. the race continued and the yellow didn't get thrown until another crash a few laps later..

why does everything always have to be a conspiracy? there were 43 cars out there racing paired off bumper to bumper for over 500 miles at 200+ miles per hour. there is no way to control what happens with all that. i'm sure someone will claim that they told Carl Edwards not to make a pass out of turn 4 on the last lap so they could have the story of the 20 year old kid in the Wood Brothers car winning.. if all you can see is conspiracies and don't like it, then don't watch it. i'm sure there is something else to watch or do on a sunday afternoon..

Can't you see that NASCAR has been helping Jr. all along? How else can you explain why he's been doing so awesome?
