When I install my new MSD Blaster 2 coil, can I use the original wires that went to the factory coil's + and - terminals or does it require a different power source for more power? This is actually for my honda not my chevelle. Thanks for the help!

read the instructions/go to MSD's site. I would just use the originals for the side terminals. Get something new for the dist, just in case its old.

The directions say to use a ballast resistor in-line with the + wire, but it does not make it clear as to if this is only with a points ignition or not.

what year honda, model, type of ign it has now? If it has a ballast now use it. I would think that if the only thing you are changing is the coil, it should just be a direct swap, assuming that it is the type of coil that works for your application.
