ok im going with bfg 235/60/15 on a 15x7 rim with 4" backspacing, and a 275/60/15 on a 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing. the back tire works out to be 28" tall and the front 26" tall does this look ok and is it ok. the rims are going to be either the TT2's or the cragar UNIQUE Super Supreme. will these fit fine with the tires above and if i wanted to go with a 295 in the rear instead of a 275 could I with the stated backspacing? Is the Bolt circle diameter 4.75 with .5 studs? and wich rim should i get? heres a link for the cragar unique

I agree with Brian.
You could probably squeeze 295's on an 8" rim but you'd be better off with a 9" with 5bs or a 10" with 5.5"bs

Your right Steven. I screwed up my math. Should be 9" rim w/5"bs, 10" w/5.5bs.

I had 295/50's on my first chevelle with 8" wide wheels - they fit and looked fine, but are not optimum. 10" wide is recommended for that size if I recall.

I think the 2" size difference would look fine, it will give the car 1" of 'rake'.
